TRS Tyre & Wheel secure distribution of TITAN OTR Tyre Products
Titan OTR tyres are now available in New Zealand with the recent announcement by TRS Tyre and Wheel Ltd that they have secured exclusive NZ distribution of the Titan range of OTR tyres.
Manufactured in the USA, Titan is one of North America’s largest manufacturers of off highway tyres and one of only a few companies worldwide to specialise in this demanding market segment. With manufacturing facilities located in the states of Illinois, Ohio and Iowa, Titan have the manufacturing capacity to produce tyres from as small 6” in diameter to the giant 63” mining tyre.
As a specialist off highway tyre producer, Titan tyres are heavy duty built for the most demanding applications and offer a premium quality tyre and outstanding value for money. This quality is recognised by many machinery manufacturers who choose to specify Titan as standard equipment. Internationally Titan Tyres can be found on leading machinery brands such as; CAT, Kubota, Case, New Holland, AGCO and John Deere.

The Titan range compliments other brands already represented by TRS such as BKT, Michelin and Continental and in many cases now provides customers with multiple options from a single NZ supplier.
Adding further value to the customer solution is the range of wheel services provided by TRS. Long established as a manufacturer of agricultural wheels, TRS have expanded to include the repair and supply of wheels and related services to the mining and other heavy wheel segments. Services include crack testing to Australian standards, a vital safety criterion when replacing mining tyres or operating mining equipment in hazardous environments. TRS can either repair wheels where fatigue cracks are found or offer high quality replacement wheels equivalent to or better specification than original equipment.
