BKT Launch International Website dedicated to Off-Highway Tyres
Balkrishna Industries (BKT Tyres) have just launched a new user-friendly and interactive web-site dedicated to off-highway tyres www.bkt-tires.com. With four manufacturing plants in India, BKT has been growing rapidly internationally as a leading manufacturer of off-highway tyres. BKT release around 150 new sizes annually with many of these being incorporated into the New Zealand market and BKT has grown to become the largest selling agricultural tyre brand in NZ.
The new website offers a number of improved qualities, making technical data and application information much more accessible to farmers and machinery operators. The improved search engine allows browsers to search for product by different attributes such as category & sub-category, tyre size, tread pattern and tyre type. A comprehensive library of tyre images allows the user to choose between different tread patterns to suit different applications.
A completely new function on the BKT web-site is the ‘Register Your Tyres’ option in the ‘Customer Section’. This allows customers to register their BKT tyres and send BKT their feedback and experiences with BKT tyres. Feedback is an important function towards research and development of new tyre products.
The technical information section called ‘Care & Safety’ is full of important information relating to tyre care & maintenance, fitment guides, do’s & don’t with tyres and liquid ballasting. Other handy tools available in the ‘Customer Section’ are a unit conversion chart, radial tyre conversion chart and speed & load index symbols etc.
